History
Ginger was first cultivate in South eat asian. it was a highly prized crop and could sell for as much as a sheep. With a bold flavor it was quick to rise in popularity being as common as salt and pepper. The demand for ginger is still increadble high which has resulted in the production of artifical ginger to supplment the demand.

Sowing Seeds
Cut rhe rhizomes in to smaller pices that have atleast 2 horns for prouts to develop. face the horns towards the surface.
Germination
It can take 2 to 6 weeeks for the sprouts to begin growing, soaking for 12 hours prior to planting can help with germination
Pruning
remove any dead shoot back to the ground to encourage new growth
Harvest
If havresting the full crop gently dig around the base of the plant and remove the full rhizome from the Ground.
You can also harvest individual shoots leaving the bulk of the rhizome to contiune its growth
Growing Tips
In colder climates use a heating pad and grow them indoors or in a greenhouse
