Plant care
Sowing Seeds
Build mounds of soil 2 to 3 feet apart. Plant seeds about 1 inch apart and cover with straw
Germination
Seeds can take 7 to 10 day for germination
Pruning
Remove any early flower to foucus the young plants energy one vegitation.
Once you have a desired amoun of fruit remove exsessive side shoots and flowers as the grow. Cutting the main vine back can foucus the enegry back to the fruit
Harvest
Cut the stem back an inch from the main shoot. Early morning harvests will have a high sugar content
Growing Tips
Put something uner the melon to get prevent disease.
Not all melons will be come giant. there are however special varieties that can be grown to be larger than others.
