History
mustard is one of the oldest know spices around the world. dating back over 5000 year text written in sandskrit. believed to have originated somewhere in india it was blended into a paste and used as a spice just like we do today. it is believe to have anti inflammatory properties and aid in digestive health.

Soil Conditions

Loamy soil.
Water

1 to 2 inches of water per week.
Water the plants regularly keeping soil moist not soggy.

10-10-5 for vegitation
5-10-10 for flowering

Plant care
Sowing Seeds
Sow seeds a 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Plant seeds about 1 inch apart and cover with straw
Germination
Seeds can take 3 to 10 day for germination
Pruning
Remove any Leaves that are touching the soil.
If the plant is being harvested for the seeds then out the base of the plant for airflow
Harvest
Greens can be harvested on a regularly if the crown remains intact.
If harvesting the seeds the can be left standing until the plants dies back. Use the stocks as a handle ang thrash the plant to collect seeds.
Growing Tips
Greens can be grown indoors in a container and has a quick harvest. Using an Aerogarden or a Lettuce Grow Farmstand to grow indoors can keep the plants stress to a minimum.
