Parsley
Petroselinum crispum
History
Parsley was first used for cerimonaial and medicinal purposes. It was seen as a sign of death and place on burials. The romans used it as a fish food to treat sickly fish. Charlimaine made a decree that parsley was to be added to all royal gardens, which helped increase the populatiry of the herb.

plant seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Plant seeds about 1 inch apart and cover with straw
Germination
Germination can take 2 to 4 weeks. keep soil moist during this time.
Pruning
Remove leaves that are drooping in the soil. Remove any dead or diseased leaves.
Harvest
cut the outer most leaves back an inch from the soil, never take more then a third of the plant at a time.
