History
Both spicy and sweet peppers belong to the same family capsicumn. they are native the the americas with pottery dating back over 7000 years showing evedince of there use. When christopher begun his spice trade with the new world pepper quickly took a hold in the culinary arts inspiring a wide number of sauses. most peppers will fall under one of 5 main species annuum(bell and chili), baccatum(bishops crown), chinense(habanero and pepper x), frutescens(tabasco), pubescens(locoto).

Plant care
Sowing Seeds
Plant seeds 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep. Plant seeds about 3 inches apart and cover with straw
Germination
seeds can take 7 to 14 days for germination
Pruning
Remove early forming flowers to focus on vegitation. Remove any dead or diseased leaves.
Harvest
Harvest when peppers are firm to the touch, some will start changing colors as they ripen.
Growing Tips
Water on a regular cycle. Changing the time you water can harm the plant more then help it.
