History
The oldest known sage bush is over 11,000 years old however, it is not the sage we know today more of an ancestor. Modern sage was first cultivated by the Greeks and is believe to grant immoratality and heal the wounded. Holding strong relligous use it was looked down upon by the catholic church and told people not to use it and use frankenstein instead.

Germination
Seeds can take 2 to 2 weeks for germination. keep soil moist during this time.
Pruning
Cut spent flowers back 2 to 3 inches about the woody stems. If you harvest sage do this in the spring.
Shape the bush and and cut back the the green growth to prevent woody legs from forming.
Harvest
harvesting should be done throughout the summer and fall. cut back the flowers to encourage new buds to form throughout the year.
