cassava dated back over 10,000 years ago in modern day brazil along the amazon basil it has a hardy tropicl corp that is calore dense. before being eating it has to be processed to remove cyanide, the natives had several methods of processing the roots from pressing to greating and boiling it was a staple food. while it was made popular in america through tapioca pudding it never took off. however it had become very popular amopngst African tribe

remve any dead or diseased leaves as well as and weaker branches.
Harvest
Wait until the leaves begin to droop and turn yellow. loose the soil around the base an inspect the size of the roots. once ready dig arould the plant and remove the whole tree.
Growing Tips
Grows best in tropical climate with atleast 8 frost free months
Cut the tree into 8 to 12 inch segment to plant again. shoots can be stored for up to a year.
